In 1995 we travelled to Toronto for the Cycle Messenger World Championships. There at the Jet Fuel Coffee Shop our idea for Berlin was born. 9 years later on April 1st 2004 we opened the KEIRIN cycle culture café in Berlin Kreuzberg. Working as bicycle messenger for more than 10 years in cities around the globe Berlin, London, Toronto, New York City etc. we had no clue how it would be to run a business and to “settle”. It was def not easy and we ran into many problems, we still do… Folks were laughing about us when we started selling trackbikes in 2004, as only a handful of people riding them in Berlin.

We got almost no Omnium’s left! New batch end of February! Please pre-order as they go like hotcakes.
Bill! To have known you was such an honour. You had lot’s of stories to tell. I remember that you toured with the Dead, the Grateful Dead. I think about the time at Sophie’s and for some reason about 611 Broadway, we met waiting for the elevator and there was some sort of great vibe! You were always there, at every NY messenger event. Like a puzzle, we all belonged together and you belonged to us. The Mermaid Parade, Metropoloco, Monster Track or the worlds in 05’… You had an ear for the weak and the new one’s among us.
